We began marketing folding tables in 1995. At that stage the only design of folding tables that was truly strong, light and durable was the Mity-Lite. The Mity-Lite table is the original high-impact plastic design. And it is still the best.
However, in the past 6 years we have added our other two designs to our range (the Commercialite and the Duralite). Our turnover is now equally split between the three.
The Commercialite is a great workaday folding table. Slightly heavier than the Mity-Lite and with far fewer options. But great value for money for such a strong and durable product.
The Duralite is our lightest table and offers great practicality at a good price for those that need a light table without frills. It also has the benefit of adjustable height and fold-in-half versions.
Of course at the same time there has been a tidal wave of cheap Chinese copies of the Duralite design. These look extremely similar. In fact almost all folding tables look very similar when new. The proof of the design is how it performs over the years.
For that reason we are always delighted to put you in touch with one of our thousands of customers around the country. They can give you a truly independent view of what they have bought from us. And they can also show you some tables that have had years of use. That is much more relevant for a folding table than something out of a box.
The life of a folding table is a hard one. Unless the right high-impact plastic (without cheap fillers in the formulation), the right leg design (with strong welds and a good attachment to the top) and the right mechanism are used, eventually you will have problems.
